Yhteenveto
Crochet-hook 4,5 mm Mint green with comfortable soft handle Aluminum head For wool and acrylic For scarves sweaters and blankets

Mint green crochet hook 4,5 mm is useful for crocheting with thicker yarns that quickly accumulate in your hands. The head and shaft are made of aluminum, a lightweight metal with a smooth surface. The metal part is followed by a soft handle that fits well in the palm and is comfortable to hold. On the side of the handle, the number 4,5 mm is printed, so the size cannot be confused with similarly sized hooks. The fresh green shade looks delicate and is easy to see on the work table.

The hook measures approximately 13.7 cm and its handle has a flattened area at the top where the thumb rests. This keeps the grip stable and the head always points in the same direction. The size 4,5 mm is popular for wool yarns and thicker acrylics, from which warm scarves, neck warmers, hats, or living room blankets are crocheted.

When working with thicker yarn, it is appreciated that the aluminum head is sufficiently robust yet smooth. The thread moves over it without snagging, and the loops are of regular size, even when working at a faster pace. The soft material of the handle cushions pressure on the joints of the fingers, which is especially useful for larger projects that take several days to complete. The hook can handle smooth column patterns as well as textured reliefs, such as braids or star-shaped patterns.

  • Size – 4,5 mm
  • Metal part – aluminum head with shaft
  • Grip – soft molded handle with thumb support
  • Handle color – mint green
  • Length – approximately 13,7 cm
  • Marking – size number printed on the handle
  • Suitable projects – scarves, neck warmers, hats, and blankets made of thicker yarn
  • Package contents – 1x crochet hook 4,5 mm

After use, the hook should be wiped and stored in a dry place. The handle can be washed with a damp cloth, and the head should be protected from bending, for example by storing it in a case. If the hook is carried along with a work in progress in a bag, it is practical to stick it into a ball of yarn so that the head does not catch surrounding fibers. The mint green handle is easy to find in the bag.

The 4,5 mm hook in mint green is suitable for anyone who enjoys crocheting warm accessories and blankets from thicker yarn. The lightweight metal shaft and soft handle ensure comfortable work without unnecessary strain. The printed size helps keep tools organized. The hook is also a great addition to a Christmas gift along with a few balls of yarn. Thanks to the soft grip, it can be used by people who experience pain in their fingers or wrists from thin metal hooks. The metal head remains smooth even after long use.
